Veggie Gardening Calendar
Frustrated with poor veggie gardening results? Yes, we live in a challenging environment for vegetable gardening — but it is possible for us to grow great tasting, organic, produce. We’ll look at timing our plantings for success,
ways to feed the soil that feeds our plants
(organically) and understanding the origins and needs of different plants and how we can trick them into growing well here in the mountains.

Kid’s Workshop
It’s Mom’s Day tomorrow; that means it’s time once again for the kids to present her with a great plant created by them. Members of our staff will assist the kid’s in planting flowers and herbs into a pretty recyclable container. Mom will love it, and so will the kids. Kids, this is an open ended workshop, stop in anytime between 10 and 2 and get your hands dirty. The class is free but there is a $10.00 fee for materials. Age limit 4-12 year olds. Adults, please be present at the nursery during the workshop.

Container Gardening
Another year — another container gardening seminar. If you’ve joined us before, you know the drill. If you haven’t, this is a fun morning of learning, sharing, laughing, designing and planting a beautiful container. This year you’ll see a demonstration of the hot new trend of vertical gardening (or living art) using our favorite new product — Woolly Pockets. Be prepared for this hands-on workshop by bringing in your favorite pot or choose one from our great selection (maybe you want to try planting a pocket!).
We’ll provide potting soil, ideas and inspiration to get you on your way to creating a masterpiece.

Ladies Night
Ladies, bring your friends or come and meet new friends in a relaxed & fun atmosphere (sorry guys and kids, this night is for women only).
Get inspired with design ideas for outdoor living; taste some local Colorado wine(!); see all the new varieties of annuals and perennials and
new gardening products; shop for gifts or spoil yourself from our unique, garden-related selection.
